Arden White is partnering with a leading aviation company to recruit an Inside Sales Representative. This position plays a key role in driving revenue growth, supporting the sales team, and delivering exceptional customer service across the company’s engine, airframe, and distribution divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Enquiries
Receive, research, and resolve customer enquiries and complaints, collaborating with internal departments (Sales, Product Lines, QC, Warehouse, Accounting).
Respond promptly and efficiently to questions about sales orders, invoices, shipping, and documentation.
Ensure all enquiries are logged in the system, including those resulting in “no quotes”.
Provide courteous follow-up calls on all quotations submitted.
Monitor and respond to online platforms (e.g. Quote Accelerator, ePlane, ILS).
Sales & Business Development
Actively maintain product knowledge across all business divisions: Engine, Airframe, and Distribution.
Identify and communicate new business opportunities based on customer feedback and issue resolution.
Support the achievement of company sales targets and KPIs.
Actively promote new product offerings and distribution lines.
Order Management
Ensure all purchase orders (POs) are processed on the day of receipt with prompt order acknowledgements.
Maintain regular dialogue with customers and product line specialists.
Liaise with finance to ensure customers remain within agreed credit terms.
Track and report on enquiries, orders, backlogs, and other sales metrics.
Systems & Reporting
Keep CRM and internal systems updated with accurate and timely information.
Provide weekly and monthly performance reports as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure visibility of order status and customer communications.
Client Interaction
Attend customer meetings and support client visits when required.
Key Requirements
Experience in an inside sales or customer service role, preferably within aviation, aerospace, or distribution.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to sales support and business development.
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits.
