Customer Insight Analyst – Retail & Travel
Location: London (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Package:
* £28,000 – £32,000 Basic Salary
* Bonus – up to 15%
* Pension: 5% employee, 8% employer
* Life Insurance: 5x salary

ROLE OVERVIEW:
As Customer Insight Analyst, you’ll play a key role in understanding what drives customer behaviour, turning data into actionable insights that shape commercial, marketing, and operational decisions.
This role is all about giving the business a deeper understanding of its customers – from helping retailers increase sales, to spotting opportunities that enhance visitor satisfaction, to identifying future trends that will define the customer journey.
You will also…
* Gather, analyse, and present customer insights from multiple sources to guide strategic decision-making.
* Support retail and marketing teams with actionable data that drives sales, footfall, and brand engagement.
* Monitor customer metrics and uncover opportunities to improve visitor satisfaction.
* Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Wi-Fi data to inform commercial and operational strategies.
* Manage relationships with research agencies, retailers, and brand partners to share insights and best practices.
* Develop sponsorship propositions informed by customer behaviour and insights.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative research, survey design, and customer segmentation.
* Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation skills; experience with SPSS, Q, Tableau, or Power BI desirable.
* Commercially minded, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations that drive business growth.
* Strong communication skills – able to present complex insight simply and effectively.
* Experience in retail, agency. travel or FMCG needed.
