INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING ENGINEER – NORTHERN ENGLAND - £40,000 to £45,000 + CAR + BENEFITS
The Company
Our client is a well-established market leader supplying high quality machinery and equipment to the food industry. With an excellent reputation for customer service, the company is poised for further growth and now wishes to appoint an Installation and Commissioning Engineer to support its National Sales Team
The Role
The role will be home based, covering the North of England as well as work in Ireland as and when required. Therefore, candidates should live North of the M62 motorway and within relatively easy access of an International airport. This is an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified people-oriented Engineer to move into a more customer facing environment and, working closely with the company Area Sales Managers, the appointee will provide Technical Sales Support and Application knowledge to meet customer requirements. As part of a growing department that is the central point of contact for installations and new technology, this will include commissioning new equipment and providing appropriate training for customers and the company’s Sales Team.
The Candidate
Product training will be provided but candidates must be multi-skilled and have formal Engineering Qualifications together with strong organizational and communication capabilities. Proven experience of providing Engineering Customer Support within an advanced processing equipment environment would be preferred and a background within the food processing industry would be ideal. Strong interpersonal skills are also required together with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships within cross functional teams.
