Installation Manager – Plumbing & Heating

Location: Renfrewshire, Scotland
Sector: Residential Retrofit / Heating Installation
Duration: Long-term project through to October 2026
Salary / Rate: DOE

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Installation Manager to support delivery of a live residential heating installation programme in Renfrewshire.

This is a hands-on site-based role suited to someone with a strong plumbing, heating, or mechanical background who understands how to manage installation works within occupied residential environments.

You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure programme delivery, and manage works safely across live housing stock.

The role would suit someone coming from plumbing and heating installation, communal heating, retrofit, or mechanical residential projects.

The Role

  * Manage daily site activity across occupied residential properties

  * Coordinate plumbing, heating, and mechanical subcontractors

  * Ensure work is delivered safely and to programme

  * Monitor quality, progress, and installation standards

  * Liaise with project teams, residents, and client representatives

  * Resolve day-to-day site issues and maintain smooth delivery

Ideal Experience

You may currently be working as a:

  * Site Manager

  * Installation Manager

  * Mechanical Site Manager

  * Plumbing & Heating Supervisor

  * Mechanical Supervisor

  * Retrofit or Residential M&E Manager

Experience within social housing, refurbishment, communal heating, retrofit, or occupied residential projects would be highly beneficial.

Requirements

  * Strong plumbing, heating, or mechanical installation knowledge

  * Previous site leadership or supervisory experience

  * Experience working within live residential environments

  * Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades

  * Strong communication and organisational skills

  * Full UK Driving Licence
