Job Description

Job Title: Instrumentation Project Engineer Location: Derby Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000 Hours: 35 per week (08:00 - 16:00 | 13:00 Finish on Friday) Start: ASAP Benefits: * 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (Increasing to 28 after time served) * Expensed travel off site * Clear progression to project management * International travel opportunities * Private pension and medical schemes Overview: My client is currently looking to employ a project engineer to assist in planning, execution and overseeing of multiple projects. The correct candidate will be able to make sure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to strict quality standards. Responsibilities: * Manage instrumentation projects from quotation to completion. * Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reports and budget. * Collaborate with other teams to identify requirements, risks and resources. * Communicate with stakeholders providing updates and keeping the projects on track. * Developing and managing bill of materials (BoM) as well as acquiring relevant materials when needed. * Travelling to customer sites (occasionally) both domestic and international. Requirements * Completed Degree, HNC/HND in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred. * Knowledge of instrumentation (Strain Gauges, Thermocouples, Pressure Gauges etc) * Great understanding of layouts and engineering drawings and designs. * Previous project management experience. * Highly organised with strong time management and able to prioritise. * Aerospace or similar background. *** Must be a British National due to the nature of projects
