Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) projects within highways infrastructure
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project growth and delivery
Ensure technical excellence and safety throughout the design process
Oversee resource planning and forecasting to meet project deadlines and budgets
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, in line with Jacobs’ safety culture
Drive quality and innovation in ITS engineering design
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in the design and management of ITS or traffic signal projects
Strong leadership abilities and the capability to lead a design team independently
Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
In-depth knowledge of highway design standards and their practical application
Experience managing the financial aspects and cost control of engineering projects
Professional Membership with a recognised engineering Institution or Institute (e.g., IET, CIHT, ICE)
