Job Opportunity - Interim Deputy S151 Officer
One of my local Government clients are currently on the lookout for an Interim Deputy S151 Officer to join their team.
Interim Deputy S151 Officer
Contract Length: 4-7 Months +
Pay Rate: DOE
Days: X5 p/w (Could also consider part time, X3 days p/w minimum)
Hybrid: X1-2 days in office p/w.
Start Date: ASAP
You will be expected to:
Help modernise the finance function and enhance the relationship of finances role within the organisation linking through to business partnering.
Deliver a high performing finance function and establish financial management reporting/analysis for monitoring and financial planning.
Give guidance on technical aspects.
Deputise as S151.
Successful candidates will:
Will have extensive leadership experience and business partnering experience as outlined above.
Ideally have deputised as S151 before but would also consider candidates who have worked as a Finance Business Partner Lead or Financial Planning Lead.
Ideally would have specific local authority experience working at this level but the client will also consider candidates who have the same level experience working for any of the following: Fire & Rescue Services, Police, NHS or Housing Associations.
