Interim Director of Fundraising - Midlands Hospice
📍 Midlands (Hybrid) | ⏳ 6-9 Month Contract | 💷 Competitive Day Rate / FTC
We're supporting a well-respected regional hospice in the Midlands in their search for an Interim Director of Fundraising.
This is a pivotal role, providing immediate leadership and stability during a period of transition. You'll take the reins of a talented fundraising team, ensuring income generation across individual giving, community, corporate partnerships, trusts, events, and legacies remains on track.
Key priorities will include:
✅ Driving income and securing short-term funding opportunities
✅ Leading and motivating the fundraising team through transition
✅ Maintaining strong donor and partner relationships
✅ Ensuring compliance and reporting to the CEO and Board
We're looking for an experienced senior fundraising leader who can hit the ground running, bring clarity and confidence, and deliver impact in a short timeframe. Experience in the charity sector is essential, with hospice/healthcare knowledge an advantage.
