Job Description
Interim EHS Specialist - Germany
Frankfurt | 3-6 Month Interim Contract | 2-3 Days per Week
Rate: Approx. €400 per day
We're working with a global leader in sustainable technology and electronics lifecycle management to appoint an Interim EHS Specialist to support operations in Germany. This role will provide hands-on oversight of site-level EHS performance and incident management systems, working closely with the European EHS Partner to drive improvements across the region.
The position is part-time (2-3 days per week) and will require regular on-site presence near Frankfurt. Fluency in German is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor performance across EHS data systems (incidents, training, leading indicators)
Drive quality and consistency in reporting and performance monitoring
Support rollout of global EHS programs and regional performance reviews
Prepare automated dashboards and reporting packs for senior leadership
Assist with incident learning, training compliance, and audit readiness
Collaborate with local teams to identify risk trends and improvement opportunitiesIdeal Background:
5-10 years' experience in EHS roles, preferably with international or multi-site exposure
Strong working knowledge of EHS management systems, root cause analysis, and ISO frameworks
Excellent data and systems capability - confident with dashboards and reporting tools
Fluent in German
Able to commit to 2 days/week on-site in Germany
