Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Interim Financial Accountant to join a global organisation on a 3 month FTC.
This key role ensures high-quality financial and compliance-based accounting services while driving process improvements and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
I'm looking to speak to highly skilled and experienced accountants with a strong technical accounting background, compliance expertise, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be based in the North East of England and play a vital role in financial reporting, tax and VAT management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and external audit coordination.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience
* Strong US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP compliance experience is advantageous.
* SAP and intermediate Excel skills
* Ability to manage month-end processes, financial statement reviews, tax submissions, and audit activities
* Proven experience in process improvement and cost efficiency initiatives
* Strong communication and leadership skills
