Job Description
6 month FTC
~ Central Manchester offices
~ Hybrid working; 3 days in office and 2 days WFH per week
~ ACCA or ACA qualification is essential
~ Some international travel may be required
~ Salary circa. £65,000 p.a.
~ At least business level proficiency in Spanish language is essential
We are seeking a Spanish speaking Financial Controller to fulfil an initial six month FTC, covering Maternity leave. This role will commence towards the end of September 2025, and will run to at least March 2026, with the possibility to be extended for a further 2-3 months.
You will report directly into the Group CFO based in the UK, and your key duties will include:
* Management of global finance function consisting of 3 direct and 7 indirect reports
* Preparation of consolidated month end accounts
* Oversee all statutory accounts, local audits and tax filings
* Review of month end balance sheet reconciliations
* Review of intercompany accounting and reconciliations
* All FP&A work for the region
* Assistance with preparation of annual budgets
* Assistance with completion of monthly forecasts
In order to be considered for this role you need to have:
* ACCA or ACA qualified
* 5+ years' experience at this level, ideally from an FMCG or manufacturing background
* Costing experience
* Experience working in an international environment
* Handling cross border transactions
* Experience performing multicurrency consolidations
* Experience and exposure to IFRS
We are unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship for this role, and can only consider candidates already living within a reasonable commute to Manchester city centre.
