Interim Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer (Senior Practitioner) Are you an experienced professional with a background in leaving care and auditing? We are currently seeking a dedicated Interim Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer (Senior Practitioner) to join a dynamic team on a fixed-term contract basis for 3 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for ensuring high standards in care pathways and improving service quality within the social care sector. About the Role As the Interim Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer (Senior Practitioner), your primary responsibility will be to audit pathway plans, ensuring they meet quality standards and provide meaningful support to young people in leaving care. Your expertise in leaving care processes, combined with auditing experience, will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidate Responsibilities Conduct thorough audits of pathway plans to assess their quality and effectiveness Evidence what constitutes a good pathway plan, supporting continuous improvement Review case files and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory guidance Collaborate with team members to develop action plans for improvement where gaps are identified Maintain accurate records of audit findings and prepare reports for senior management Support staff in understanding quality standards and best practices in leaving care Provide expert advice and guidance on care pathway development and documentationCandidate Requirements Proven experience in leaving care services and auditing pathway plans Ability to clearly evidence what a good pathway plan looks like Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills Excellent communication and report-writing abilities Ability to work independently and effectively manage time Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation in social careBenefits Competitive pay rate 24.52 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay or 33.31 inclusive of holiday pay Opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of care provided to young people Contract duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension Supportive and collaborative team environment Salary / Pay Rate: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience How to Apply If you're a qualified Interim Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer (Senior Practitioner) with the right experience, we want to hear from you!
