One of my Local Authority clients in Hampshire are currently on the lookout for an Interim Repairs and Maintenance Manager position.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
Writing accurate reports on repair claims.
Creating a strategy and schedule for contractors.
Work with the PPM Budget
Organizing a budget for the maintenance team.
Visiting planned site visits and emergency, performing Damp, Voids, and Stock Condition Surveys (all responsive and planned works)
Overseeing projects from beginning to completion whilst dealing with contractors.
Procure new contractors
What you will need:
Managerial experience in the public sector.
MCIOB qualified.
To be located a maximum of an hour away (2-3 days in the office/site rest of the week remote)
