We are seeking an experienced Interim Support Manager to provide immediate leadership and operational oversight for a service supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on interim professional who can quickly embed themselves within a service, provide stability, support the team, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult social care, with experience managing supported living, residential, or complex care services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or additional behavioural or mental health needs. You will be confident overseeing day-to-day service delivery, supporting staff performance, maintaining compliance, and driving standards in line with regulatory and organisational expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational leadership across the service
Support and develop the staff team to ensure safe, effective, person-centred care
Oversee compliance, quality, and safeguarding standards
Work closely with senior leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans
Ensure care and support is tailored to meet the needs of adults with learning disabilities and additional needs
Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders
Maintain a visible presence within the service and provide practical leadership where needed
About You
Proven experience in an Interim Support Manager, Registered Manager, or similar leadership role
Strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs
Good understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards within adult social care
Able to start quickly and make an immediate impact
Calm, resilient, and confident leading teams through periods of change or challenge
Contract Details

Rate: Competitive day rate
