Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer
£45,000 to £47,000
Fully Remote (UK-based)
Our client, a progressive and growing London building services consultancy are looking to add an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join on a full-time remote basis. With a continuing pipeline of work you will work on a range of buildings across the RIBA stages.
The Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering high quality mechanical and water services design for a number of national and private clients.
Sectors include – High Residential, Commercial, Science and Research, Education and Leisure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver mechanical design across RIBA Stages 1–6
* Work independently on design tasks from concept through to delivery
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and attend virtual meetings
* Conduct occasional site visits and inspections as required
* Prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and reports
About You:
* Minimum 5 years of UK-based experience in mechanical design within the building services sector
* Proven ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
* Proficient in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Hevacomp)
This is a fully remote role, but occasional site visits will be required depending on project needs.
