Job Description

Consilium Recruit are supporting a globally prominent engineering service provider operating across several product areas including advanced measurement and inspection and specialist equipment. The business is seeking to develop existing customers and new prospects. They are seeking an Internal Lead Generator. This is a permanent role based onsite, Monday to Friday, at their offices in Leicestershire. Commutable from:  Lutterworth, Rugby, Coventry, Leicester, Market Harborough Salary:  Excellent Salary + Achievable Commission Scheme + Enhanced Employer Commission Scheme + Private Medical + Life Assurance + Medical Cash back Plan + Annual Leave (increases incrementally with length of service) + Excellent Career Progression. The Role  With a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement the Internal Lead Generator will provide an invaluable input to the sales and business development teams. Engaging with both existing and potential new customers, you will support the flow of sales enquiries and sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include: Daily calls to prospect to build and manage lead pipeline. Prospecting via warm and cold calling, emailing, and social media networking. Qualifying all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria. Conduct research for target accounts and identify key contacts from the focus segments for prospecting. Providing weekly and monthly activity reports to the management team. Regularly updating the CRM and maintaining the CRM with lead status and progress. The Person  This role is on a fixed term contract basis for two years and as such the business will invest significantly in your training and development. Applicants are highly welcomed with some sales experience particularly in a business to business (B2B) format and previous of engagement with customers using the phone.  Previous technical/engineering experience is not needed due to the organisation’s in-depth training process, the ability to demonstrate passion and tenacity in developing customer relationships and engagement is certainly needed.  This is a great opportunity for someone to build a develop a career in a technically focused Account Manager or Sales Manager pathway.
