Internal Sales Co-ordinator Location: Oldmeldrum Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm; Friday, 7:00am -3:30pm (40-hour week) Benefits: profit-related bonus scheme, private medical care, additional holidays for long service, staff discount scheme About the company: A well-established company in the lifting and engineering sector is looking for an Internal Sales Co-ordinator to join their team in Oldmeldrum. The business specialises in the supply, rental, and servicing of high-quality lifting equipment, offering innovative solutions to a range of industries. Activus Recruitment is working on behalf of this long-standing client to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Sales Co-ordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the sales function and contribute to the smooth running of daily operations within a respected and growing organisation. Key responsibilities: * Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. * Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s CRM system. * Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and support the external sales team with administrative tasks. * Maintain and update customer records and sales data. * Coordinate with logistics, production, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and invoicing. * Monitor stock levels and liaise with procurement to manage inventory. * Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts for management. * Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. * Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities as needed. Key skills & qualifications: * Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably in a Business-to-Business environment. * Strong organisational and multitasking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
