Internal Sales Executive / Trainee Sales Engineer / Account Manager required to join a market leading engineering supplier based in London.
The successful Internal Sales Executive / Trainee Sales Engineer / Account Manager shall be responsible for account management, new business development, technical advice, quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, administration, invoicing, proposals and other aspects of customer service for compressed air systems & associated mechanical engineering products.
The Internal Sales Executive / Trainee Sales Engineer / Account Manager ideally come from any sales, technical support, customer service or technical background with a willingness to make regular sales calls to new and existing customers. Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product, spare parts or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial.

• £28,000-£32,000 depending on experience.

Internal Sales Executive / Trainee Sales Engineer / Account Manager Role
• Account management, new business development on correct compressed air related product selection as per customers’ needs via outbound sales calls.
• Generate & provide quotations & proposals and technical support of compressed air systems & associated mechanical engineering products to customers.
• Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
• Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations.
• Product specification plus after sales and service support.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Commutable to the office daily near Canning Town, London.
Internal Sales Executive / Trainee Sales Engineer / Account Manager Requirements
• Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product, spare parts or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial.
• Willingness to make regular sales calls to new and existing customers. Full product training is provided.
• Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, or similar customer service position.
• Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential.
• Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
