Job Description

Chase Taylor Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing company for an Internal Sales Executive to join their sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys speaking with customers, generating new business and developing long-term relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in converting enquiries into orders and supporting the wider sales function.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing inbound enquiries, generating new business and following up sales opportunities. You will make regular outbound calls to prospective customers, qualify leads and arrange opportunities for the wider sales team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  * Managing inbound sales enquiries and progressing them through to first order.

  * Making a high volume of quality outbound calls to generate new opportunities and qualified leads.

  * Following structured call campaigns and prospect lists.

  * Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.

  * Following up quotations and working closely with the Quotes Department to maximise conversions.

  * Promoting products, services, schemes and promotional offers.

  * Carrying out due diligence on new customer enquiries.

  * Maintaining accurate customer information and activity on the CRM system.

  * Supporting the Head of Sales & Marketing with CRM management, reporting and Excel analysis.

  * Providing professional customer service by telephone, email and other communication channels.

  * Assisting with quotation amendments and administrative updates.

  * Coordinating marketing materials, product samples, brochures and promotional merchandise.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a confident and motivated sales professional with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to generating new business.

You will ideally have:

  * Previous experience in internal sales, telesales, business development or a similar role.

  * Confidence making outbound sales calls and developing new opportunities.

  * Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

  * A target-driven and commercially focused approach.

  * Excellent telephone and communication skills.

  * Good administration and organisational skills.

  * Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.

  * The ability to work independently and as part of a wider sales team.

Experience within construction, roofing, rooflights, fenestration, windows & doors, building products or a related trade industry would be highly advantageous.
