Job Description
Job Title: Internal Sales
Reporting To: Branch Manager
Location: Chesser, Edinburgh
Main Purpose: To ensure the timely response to all customer enquiries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Monitor and respond to all customer enquires sent to the branch through email or phone calls.
* Create customer quotes.
* Contact suppliers to get prices and lead times on parts required for quotes.
* Convert quotes to orders on the system once accepted by the client.
* Advise customers that goods are ready for collection.
* Arrange shipping of the goods to site if required.
* Convert jobs to invoices on the system once collected or shipped.
* Work with the internal service team to quote remedial works required from engineer site visit reports.
* Convert remedial quotes to jobs once accepted by the client.
* Place orders with suppliers for parts required.
* Notifying the internal service team once all materials for remedial jobs are booked into stock and the jobs are ready to schedule.
Skills, Knowledge & Person Specification:
* Good communication skills
* Good numeracy skills
* Computer literate in various Microsoft packages and company operated systems
* Self-driven and focused individual with the ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Proactive/problem solver
* Capable of multi - tasking
* Knowledge of sewage sets - stations, booster sets, pressurisation sets general pumping equipment and ancillary items.
* Excellent knowledge of pumping industry and relationships with manufacturers and endusers
