Job Description

Our clients - a Farnborough based supplier of modern, bespoke lighting products and solutions are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Internal Sales professional to join their dynamic and growing team - someone who thrives in a flexible environment and is eager to shape both their own future and the growth and success of the company. Based at the head office in Farnborough with on-site parking and modern facilities and working within a supportive and knowledgeable team. Whether you are already working in the sales sector, ideally within the lighting, electrical or building services sectors, and are now seeking more scope to make a personal impact, or you already have a strong foundation in customer service and are now looking to leverage your B2B experience in a sales role - this opportunity is built for an ambitious professional like you. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively seek out and develop new clients, with a focus on expanding the customer base and increased turnover - helping to drive sales and ensure successful project execution. Mining for leads on social media (LinkedIn, etc), construction industry publications and news outlets to look for forthcoming projects. Once projects are identified you will make initial contact to ascertain potential requirements and introduce the company products with the aim of providing a quote or making an appointment for the Field Sales team to visit * Work with clients at all levels, from architects to designers to consultants to contractors, to identify and understand their needs * Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns, encouraging repeat business and new product up take * Co-ordinate with operations team to ensure on time deliveries * Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities * Assist with the preparation of quotations tailored to each individual account or customer group * Log all interactions and opportunities on the company CRM system * Work closely with the Sales Team to support and execute sales strategies * Monitor your own sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to improve sales effectiveness Qualifications and Skills: * A background in sales or customer service, ideally with experience of managing B2B client relationships * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with clients at all levels * Bright, keen, resourceful, self-motivated & proactive: A driven individual who can work independently, take initiative, and develop creative approaches to seek out new business * Excellent teamworking skills * Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organisational skills to balance account management and new business activities * Enthusiasm for shaping both your own career and contributing to the growth of a forward-thinking company * Lighting experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. * Familiarity with CRM system beneficial but training will be available Salary £28k with potential to earn bonuses up to £5k
