If you can relate to these questions and you’re passionate about the flooring industry, this rare opportunity as an Internal Sales Manager may be what you are looking for!

Because - we are assisting a highly respected and expanding, family run business in their search for an Internal Sales Manager. This exciting opportunity ideally needs a person who possess a good knowledge of all types of floor coverings. Based in the Bromley, Kent area, the successful candidate will be working alongside the Sales Manager (in an equal capacity) to maximise the best possible outcome of each potential project.
This opportunity is being offered on a full time, permanent basis with office hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Imagine....Not working weekends or bank holidays!
The key responsibilities include:
* Pricing jobs from the measurement and materials lists
* Liaising with potential customers to qualify and agree estimates
* Advise customers on best quality products and finishes to suit their requirements
* Booking and scheduling appointments
* Taking payments and deposits
* Updating the in-house CRM and job planning app
Required experience and professional attributes:
* Experience gained as a carpet fitter / floor layer (or from within the carpet / floor covering industry in general)
* Possess an excellent knowledge of carpets and floor coverings
* Sales, or customer service experience
* Excellent IT literacy and numeracy skills (emails, databases, typing quotes)
* A working knowledge of Masterpiece, Carmen (or similar) would be a distinct advantage
* Possess proven negotiating and objection handling skills
* Possess amazing people skills – face to face, and over the phone
