Are you a proactive, people-focused leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are looking for an Internal Sales Supervisor to join our ReadyMix Commercial team at our Tarmac Agecroft site, based in Salford, near Manchester supporting our ReadyMix operations and helping us deliver our commercial goals.
This role is commutable fromBolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Ashton-under-Lyne, Warrington, Wigan, St Helens,Chorleyand the surrounding areas. Due to the nature of the role, hybrid working may be considered on successful completion of training.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting to theCommercialManagerthe Internal Sales Supervisorwillidentifyand meet the needs of our customers both new and existing by offering advice, support, problemsolvingand referral of enquiries to colleagues. The main responsibilities for the role of Internal Sales Supervisorwill include:
Managing a team of Sales Coordinators
Securing orders to targeted levels of revenue,profitand value from existing and new customers
Building andmaintainingrelationships with new and existing customers as well as colleagues, ensuring best practice is followed in price mapping and sales order processing (SOP)
Raising and pricing quotations processing to order conversion or query resolutions
Converting enquiries into orders, working B2B sales calls and emails
Developing a comprehensive knowledge of the market including product range, competitor activity, pricing levels, customercontactsand future contracts
Understanding and assessing customer needs – advising of new products
Engaging with customers to better understand their requirements
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role ofInternal Sales Supervisor will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to a wider team. Suitable candidates for the role of Internal Sales Supervisor willdemonstrate:
A clear understanding of the sales cycle
Ability to adjust commercial approach accurately
Confidence to up sell and cross sell a variety of products
Working collaboratively within a team to ensure tasks are completedin a timely mannerand to a high standard
Proven ability to balance both the needs of the customer and own business requirements
Driven by commercial targets working to strict budget requirements
Ambition to learn new skills and achieve own personal goals, as well as business goals
To succeed in the role of Internal Sales Supervisor, you should alsopossess:
Good interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication
Numeracy and analytical ability
Ability to prioritise andmulti task
Excellent telephone manner
Good IT skills using Word,Outlookand Excel
Experience using SAP and CRM preferred
