Job Description
Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit for a full time Internal Sales Support role.
Our client is a large importer of ceramic tiles to the UK. They are looking for someone to be office based, assisting the external sales team of 6, to keep in touch with existing customers and introduce the company to new customers. Probably a 50/50 split between account management and new business.
Job Role:
* Work with the external sales reps to build a database of contractors in their individual areas.
* Keep in regular contact with existing customers to maximise sales opportunities.
* Call to introduce the company to contractors who don’t currently spend
* Send out regular emails, promoting special offers, new ranges, new brochures, events etc….
* Arrange to post out brochures and samples to promote sales.
* Share details of calls with sales reps, where potential business warrants their involvement
* Update the CRM system, with all sales activity, diary regular calls backs etc…
* Participate in sales meetings, be an important part of the sales team, keeping in regular contact with a large database of contractors.
* Liaise with marketing to promote company and products to your database.
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working in a proactive sales role
* Good computer skills, Microsoft Office and CRM system
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Self-motivated, friendly, engaging, positive personality, ability to build rapport and beneficial business relationships over the phone.
* Team player, willing to support external sales reps and work with other departments

Hours of work: 8.30am – 5.15pm Mon – Thurs / 8.30am - 4.30pm Fri (38hrs) with one hour lunch break.
