The Role
We're looking for an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales / Order Administrator to join a busy commercial team based in Caerphilly.
You'll play a key role in supporting the sales function - managing incoming enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring customers receive a seamless and professional service from start to finish. This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, communication, and being the link between clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and quotations.
Support the sales team with preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accounts.
Maintain CRM and internal systems with up-to-date client data and order progress.
Liaise with technical, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Produce sales reports and assist with tracking performance and trends.
Follow up on outstanding quotes and proactively build positive client relationships.
Resolve any queries around invoicing, delivery, or order details in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in internal sales, order processing, or administrative support.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident with Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM systems.
Proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach.
Desirable
Experience in a technical, engineering, or compliance-based industry.
Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, or service delivery metrics.
A positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop within the company.
