The Role
As an Internal Technical Engineer, you'll be a key technical resource for customers, sales teams, and internal departments. This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert technical support using your engineering and manufacturing knowledge
Preparing accurate quotations for bespoke tooling solutions
Investigating and resolving cutting tool performance issues
Collaborating with overseas technical teams on tooling projects and development
Communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Working closely with sales teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Delivering internal training and keeping up to date with product innovationsAbout You
Strong technical background in machining, cutting tools, or manufacturing processes (essential)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving ability
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
