Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and driven Freelance Internal Manager to join the team on a major residential scheme in Deptford. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading main contractor on a high-density, multi-unit RC frame development comprising several apartment blocks and associated infrastructure.
Role Overview:
As Internal Manager, you will be responsible for managing all internal works across multiple units, ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance. Working closely with the Site and Project Managers, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the internal fit-out phase.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee internal packages including partitions, M&E, joinery, finishes, and snagging across multiple plots.

Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all works are completed to design specifications and high standards.
*
Monitor and report progress against the construction programme, addressing any delays or issues.
*
Support and enforce site health & safety procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
*
Conduct daily inspections, manage snag lists, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
*
Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and the client-side team to resolve queries and ensure smooth delivery.
*
Manage logistics related to internal works – including material distribution, access routes, and sequencing.
*
Keep accurate site records and provide regular updates to senior management.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience managing internal works on large-scale residential developments (RC frame advantageous).
*
Strong knowledge of fit-out sequencing, quality control, and finishing standards.
*
Valid CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred).
*
SMSTS or SSSTS and First Aid certification.
*
Confident in interpreting drawings and coordinating technical details.
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Freelance availability and ability to travel to site in Deptford dailyBefore You Apply
