Job Description

Shift: Mon – Thurs 8am – 4pm, Fri 8am – 2:45pm Are you an experienced Administrator with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and keeping global shipments on track? My client in Haslingden is seeking a proactive International Sales Administrator to join their dynamic International Sales team, supporting seamless export operations. Job description: Reporting to the International Sales Office Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction by coordinating all export shipments. You’ll manage and prepare the necessary export shipping documents and declarations, ensuring compliance with post-Brexit European regulations and requirements for the rest of the world. Key responsibilities: * Process export orders from customers, sales agents, and regional managers * Check stock availability and provide order acknowledgments with delivery estimates * Coordinate with Credit Control and Sales Managers to resolve any account or pricing queries * Liaise with customers, hauliers, and internal teams to arrange loading slots and consolidated shipments * Prepare and distribute all required export documentation * Work with shipping agents to secure competitive freight rates and terms * Maintain accurate filing of all export records * Advise Regional Export Managers on stock and freight quotes Ideal candidate: * Administration experience – essential * Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills * Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently * Skilled at investigating, gathering information, and problem-solving * Strong numeracy skills and IT literacy (experience with ERP systems such as Epicor desirable) * Team player with the ability to support colleagues when workloads peak
