Intervention Specialist - Gloucestershire
Supporting SEN & SEMH Schools and Provisions Across the County

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our team and support schools and provisions throughout Gloucestershire. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building meaningful relationships and has a natural ability to engage and motivate young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
About the Role:
As an Intervention Specialist, you'll work directly with pupils who need targeted support to re-engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies. You'll design and deliver 1:1 or small group interventions focused on areas such as emotional regulation, behaviour management, confidence building, and social communication.
You'll collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to create consistent and supportive approaches that help pupils succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with young people with SEMH, ASC, or behavioural challenges
Understands trauma-informed and restorative practices
Can deliver structured interventions and monitor pupil progress
Brings patience, empathy, and resilience to every interaction
Is confident working in specialist, alternative, or mainstream school settings
