Salary: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Greenwich, located within easy reach of Westcombe Park station, is seeking a proactive and nurturing Intervention Teaching Assistant to work across Reception and KS1 from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support early learners in developing foundational skills through targeted small-group and one-to-one interventions.

Intervention Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:
Deliver phonics, literacy, numeracy, and speech & language interventions
Support pupils with mild to moderate additional needs and low prior attainment
Track pupil progress and adapt sessions in collaboration with teachers and SEN staff
Encourage confidence, communication, and independence
Work closely with the class teacher to ensure inclusive access to the curriculum
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with early years or KS1 pupils - essential
Knowledge of phonics and early learning interventions (e.g., Read Write Inc or similar)
Calm, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply
