Intervention Teaching Assistant - KS2 | Lambeth Primary School (Near Tulse Hill Station)
Location: Lambeth - Walking distance from Tulse Hill Station
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)
A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Lambeth, close to Tulse Hill Station, is seeking a focused and enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This rewarding role involves supporting small groups of KS2 pupils with targeted intervention in Maths and English.
Key Responsibilities - Intervention Teaching Assistant:
Deliver structured group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy
Work with the class teacher to identify learning gaps and set achievable targets
Support lower-attaining pupils to make accelerated progress
Provide encouragement, feedback, and differentiated support
Monitor and record pupil progress and share findings with staff
The Ideal Intervention Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Experience working in primary schools, ideally in KS2
A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Strong skills in Maths and English
The ability to lead small groups with clarity and confidence
