Interventions Teaching Assistant
Location: NG5 - Nearby to Sherwood, Mapperley, Arnold, and Nottingham City Centre
Day Rate: £(Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025 - Immediate for the right candidate
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures are recruiting an Interventions TA to support pupils at a welcoming primary school in NG5. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping children progress through focused 1:1 and small group support.
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering targeted interventions in reading, writing, and maths
Supporting pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
Monitoring progress and feeding back to teachers
Encouraging resilience, independence, and positive learning habits
Helping children build confidence both academically and sociallyWe're Looking For:
Experience delivering interventions in a school setting, ideally KS1 or KS2
Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach
Confidence working with pupils of different abilities and needs
Knowledge of phonics, numeracy strategies, or SEND support desirable
A proactive team player with a genuine passion for pupil progressAbout the School:
