Job Description

WeDoData is a specialist recruitment company that focuses on IT, Data and MIS within the education sector.

WeDoData are working with an Independent School in Somerset who are committed to nurturing, challenging and celebrating each individual from Reception through to the Sixth Form.

They are looking to recruit a full time IT Engineer to work on site 5 days a week. You will need to be flexible with shift work between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm, the IT department is a busy department within the school supporting every aspect of the School’s use of ICT and related technologies. You will be taking the lead on all the schools server infrastructure and core network under the guidance of the IT Services Manager.

You will need:

  * Strong experience using 365

  * Strong experience managing and maintaining the networking

  * Previous experience leading projects

  * Previous experience supporting and mentoring junior members of staff

  * Previous experience in a school is preferred

In return my client can offer:

  * A salary of up to £39,000 per annum

  * 20 days annual leave + bank holidays

  * Pension contribution

  * School lunch during term time
