Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a Digital Services team, leading the delivery of large-scale and complex projects across a busy Change and Capital Programme.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead the delivery of large-scale and complex projects from initiation through to completion.

  * Develop project proposals, agreeing clear objectives, scope and deliverables.

  * Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documents and comprehensive project plans.

  * Monitor project progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting, including RAG status updates.

  * Identify, manage and monitor project risks, issues, decisions and actions, maintaining accurate RAID logs.

  * Coordinate project teams, stakeholders and work packages to ensure delivery remains on schedule.

  * Lead project boards, working groups and workshops, effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders.

  * Analyse complex information and identify solutions to unblock issues and manage project risks.

  * Lead service improvement, redesign and change initiatives, supporting the implementation of new ways of working.

  * Manage project resources and delegated budgets, identifying and addressing potential underspends or overspends.

You will ideally have:

  * Experience applying recognised project management methodologies.

  * Experience delivering significant change projects and implementing new systems, services or processes.

  * Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.

  * Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
