Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team of technology professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a senior-level IT support background with experience in Microsoft upgrade and migration projects. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing projects and delivering technical solutions that align with our clients' business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing activities to ensure project success.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
* Create project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress against these baselines.
* Manage project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate them.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members and vendors.
* Manage project communications, including status reporting, stakeholder updates, and project documentation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with experience in Microsoft upgrade and migration projects.
* Excellent technical skills with experience in Microsoft Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, VMware.
* Solid IT Support with commercial 3rd line experience.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project milestones.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Any project management and/or infrastructure qualifications would be beneficial.
In addition to the outlined key responsibilities and requirements, the successful candidate will also contribute to the development of trainee staff and the upskilling of support professionals.
