This specialist SEMH provision supports pupils aged 8-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, as well as additional complex learning needs. As the IT Teacher, you will:
· Deliver engaging and differentiated IT/Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4.
· Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
· Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of SEND and SEMH needs.
· Work collaboratively with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
· Support students in building confidence, digital skills, and positive learning habits.
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or relevant teaching qualification.
· Experience teaching IT/Computing (SEMH/SEN experience desirable but not essential).
· Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships.
· A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
· Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
