IT Support Technician (1st/2nd Line) (Remote - UK Based) Full-time | Must be available during Australia hours (night shifts) Are you an IT support professional looking for a fully remote role with a global schedule? A global client of mine is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team and provide top-tier technical support while working UK-based remotely on Australian hours. This is a new role as they look to bring their support function in-house. Key Responsibilities Deliver first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote tools. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Manage and resolve tickets using systems like Zoho, Zendesk, or Jira. Administer user accounts and permissions through Active Directory. Escalate complex issues to second-line support when needed.Required Skills and Experience Previous experience in IT support or a helpdesk role. Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments. Knowledge of cloud-based tools like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.Desirable Qualifications IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar.Additional Requirements Candidates must be based in the UK.
