Role: IT System Administrator
Salary: £34k–£36k
Location: Blackburn
We’re on the hunt for a tech-savvy problem solver to keep our systems secure, stable, and future-ready. If you love working across servers, cloud, and security, this is your chance to take the lead on exciting projects in a role where no two days are the same!
What you’ll be doing:
* Keeping our IT infrastructure running like a dream – from servers & storage to cloud & virtual environments
* Tightening up security with tools like CrowdStrike, WatchGuard & M365 Purview
* Managing backups & disaster recovery plans
* Supporting and improving our network alongside our engineering team
* Taking charge of IT projects from start to finish
Your toolkit:
* Windows Server (2016–2025) & Windows 11
* Active Directory, Azure AD, M365 Admin Centre, SharePoint, Exchange
* VMware & backup solutions (Veeam/Barracuda)
* DNS/DHCP, firewalls, and SAN storage systems
* A genuine curiosity for new tech – AI, automation, security best practices
