General Hand / Janitor
Dunblane
£12.21 PAYE - Contract
We are recruiting for a General Hand / Janitor to support the daily operations and general upkeep. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with previous facilities or maintenance experience who can work both independently and as part of a wider estates team.
This is a fulltime position, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2:30pm (one weekday extended to 4:00pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general janitorial duties across the estate
Identify and rectify minor faults not covered under the Hard FM contract
Support the facilities team with lifting/moving furniture and equipment
Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including painting and manual handling
Conduct visual checks for compliance and report issues as required
Work outdoors and at height when necessary
Maintain site standards in line with health and safety and safeguarding requirements
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in janitorial or general maintenance roles
Able to carry out physical tasks and manual handling
Comfortable working both inside and outdoors
Strong awareness of health & safety practices
Willing and able to complete security clearance checks
