Senior Architect
Location: Leeds or Loughborough studio
Salary: £40-45,000 DOE
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect to join a well-established, design-led practice with a strong reputation across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion, contributing to the ongoing development of the team and ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. Applications are also welcomed from experienced Architectural Technologists with proven job-running experience.

Lead projects through all RIBA work stages, ensuring technical and design quality is maintained throughout
Manage project resources, ensuring the right skills and team members are allocated appropriately
Prepare and review detailed design and technical drawing packages
Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact
Monitor and report on project performance against time and budget targets
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal processes
Mentor and support junior team members through regular feedback and professional development
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of architectural knowledge, sustainable design approaches, and technical standards within the teamThe Ideal Candidate
ARB-registered Architect with over several years of post-qualification experience
Chartered membership of the RIBA (preferred)
Alternatively, an experienced Architectural Technologist with demonstrable experience of job-running and delivering projects
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Excellent technical knowledge, including sustainable design and environmental building practices
Proven track record of managing client relationships and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction
Proficient in relevant design and presentation software
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Committed to ongoing professional development and contributing to the wider success of the practice
