Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH school in Oxfordshire that supports pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 7 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Year 7 students with SEMH needs.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and other professionals to support student progress.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies and personalised learning approaches.
Take part in wider school activities and enrichment opportunities.
Desirable:
Ability to deliver KS3 Science or willingness to develop this area.
Experience in alternative provision, PRUs, or SEMH settings (desirable but not essential).
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches.
