SEN Secondary Teacher (Autism Focus) – Full Time | ASAP Start
We are working with a supportive and well-resourced SEN secondary school seeking an experienced teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This role involves teaching and supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, primarily autism, in a structured and nurturing environment.
The Role:
Teaching a class of 10–13 students across Years 7–11
Students are typically working 3–5 years below age-related expectations
Delivering engaging lessons in PSHE, Outdoor Learning, and Home Cooking
Working closely with a team of LSAs and CSWs who provide in-class support
Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:
Experience teaching in a secondary setting
Strong background supporting students with SEN, particularly autism
Ideally experience delivering PSHE, outdoor learning, and/or practical subjects such as cooking
Ability to differentiate effectively and manage diverse needs within the classroom
Details:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start date: ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
