Position: Joiner (Temp to Perm)
Overview
We hiring a skilled Joiner on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves working on a range of commercial fit-out projects, including schools, office partitions, Mecca Bingo venues, and casinos. All work is based within a 40-minute radius of Sheffield.
Key Details
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Sheffield and surrounding areas
Duration: 12-week temporary contract with a view to permanent employment
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible between 8-10 hours per day)
Travel: 45p per mile reimbursement
Parking: Free on-site parking
Pay & Terms
Temporary Rate (First 12 Weeks):
£26 per hour
£208 per day (based on 8 hours)
Permanent Salary:
£40,000 per annum
Requirements
Essential:
Valid Blue CSCS Card
Experience in second-fix and finishing joinery
Client Facing
Own tools and transport
Desirable:
DBS check (preferred for school-based work)
Responsibilities
Installing skirting boards, doors, and office partitions
Carrying out bespoke joinery and finishing tasks
Following site safety protocols and project specifications
Representing the company professionally on site
Working independently or within a small team
