Fire Door Joiner (x2 Positions Available)
Location: Liverpool
Day Rate: £220 - £260 per day (depending on experience)
Duration: 3 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Start Date: Immediate
Overview:
We are currently looking to recruit two experienced Joiners to carry out fire door remediation works on a large-scale residential project in Liverpool. The scope of work includes student accommodation and apartment buildings, with a focus on ensuring all fire doors are brought up to regulatory standards.
This is a 3-month contract offering consistent work, competitive day rates, and immediate start for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out remedial works on existing fire doors and frames in accordance with current fire safety standards.
Replace or repair door components including hinges, closers, intumescent strips, smoke seals, and thresholds.
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant building and fire safety regulations.
Work independently or as part of a small team, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Accurately record completed works and communicate effectively with site supervisors.
Requirements:
Proven experience in fire door joinery and remedial work.
Valid CSCS card.
Own tools and PPE appropriate for joinery tasks.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications related to fire doors.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work to deadlines.
