They are looking for a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our responsive repairs team. This role is crucial in ensuring their properties are well-maintained and safe for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance work on social housing properties.
Perform joinery tasks such as fitting doors, skirting boards, and other wooden fixtures.
Diagnose and repair issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to residents.
Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, electricians) to complete multi-trade tasks.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably in a social housing or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials.
Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks and basic knowledge of other trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
