Joiner – Responsive Repairs (Permanent Role)
Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Vehicle: Company van provided
Recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor
A well-established contractor working within the social housing sector is seeking a qualified and experienced Joiner to join their responsive repairs team. This is a permanent position, with a company van provided for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out responsive repairs in tenanted and void social housing properties.
Perform a variety of joinery tasks including door hanging, kitchen repairs, skirting, architraves, and general carpentry.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with tenants, supervisors, and other trades.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
Proven experience in social housing or domestic repairs.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
