Joiner – MOD Sites
Location: Helensburgh and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Sector: Facilities Management / Maintenance
A leading, family-run FM company is seeking an experienced Joiner to join their team, working across domestic Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites in the West of Scotland. This follows the award of a major MOD maintenance contract.
This is a mobile Joiner role with a company van (personal use allowed), fuel card, and on-site parking provided.
Duties for the Joiner role include:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on timber fixtures and fittings
*
Repairing and replacing doors, windows, skirting boards, flooring, and staircases
*
Fitting kitchens, cupboards, shelving, and bespoke joinery items
*
Conducting general fabric repairs across a variety of domestic properties
*
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health and safety regulations
This Joiner position will involve working on occupied and void MOD housing, with occasional work on office and welfare buildings.
The successful Joiner will receive:

£16.50 per hour

Company van and fuel card (with optional personal use)
*
32 days annual leave
*
Company pension
*
On-call rota approx. 1 in 6 (includes £100 standby pay and minimum 3-hour call-out payment)
*
Tools and uniform provided
Essential requirements for the Joiner:
*
NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
*
Proven experience working as a Joiner in domestic or commercial maintenance
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong attention to detail and quality finish
