About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner to carry out a wide range of joinery repairs, maintenance, renovations, and installations across housing stock, schools, and public buildings in Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Joiner who takes pride in their work. You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, ensuring repairs and installations are completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out joinery repairs, maintenance, and renovations across a variety of properties.
*
Complete new joinery installations (1st and 2nd fix).
*
Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Use initiative to resolve routine technical issues on site.
*
Maintain vehicle stock levels to support efficient service delivery.
*
Work to an appointment system and liaise with customers in a professional manner.
*
Accurately complete job sheets, time records, and materials documentation.
*
Mentor and support apprentices or trainees when required.
*
Follow all health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
About You
*
Time-served Joiner with relevant qualifications and proven experience.
*
Skilled in both repair and installation joinery.
*
Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.
*
Strong customer service and communication skills.
*
Organised, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative.
*
Full UK driving licence (essential).
