Joinery Lecturer- Further Education
Salary: Up to £36,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:15-16:00 - Term Time Only
Annual leave: 13-14 weeks
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
Are you an experienced Joiner looking to pass on your skills and inspire the next generation? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding teaching role within a supportive college environment.
As this is a term-time only position, you'll benefit from 13-14 weeks off each year - giving you the flexibility to enjoy a better work-life balance or return to the tools during college holidays.
The Role:
Teach Joinery programs to KS4 and KS5 learners.
Differentiate learning to meet individual needs, including learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, and/or learning difficulties.
Deliver engaging lessons and practical sessions
Support curriculum development & employer partnerships (where relevant)
Create resources and assess learner progressRequirements:
A Level 2 (or higher) qualification in Joinery.
Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Some kind of teaching experience.Benefits:
