Jointing Supervisor
Solutions30 is expanding across the UK energy network and we're looking for an experienced Jointing Supervisor to join our high-performing team in the South East.
If you're an experienced Cable Jointer who's already stepped into a supervisory role - or a senior Cable Jointer ready to take on more leadership and responsibility - this is your opportunity to make a real impact with one of Europe's leading energy infrastructure providers.
As a Jointing Supervisor, you'll oversee and support Cable Jointers and field teams working on LV and HV connections across multiple projects. You'll ensure compliance, safety, and quality standards are always met, while maintaining excellent communication with engineers, contractors and clients.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising jointing and connection activities on LV/HV networks
Planning, allocating, and auditing work for multiple Cable Jointer teams
Testing, switching, and energising LV circuits (where authorised)
Ensuring SORN/SAN documentation and work records are accurately maintained
Leading safety briefings, toolbox talks, and ensuring all works meet DNO/IDNO standards
Identifying and resolving on-site issues quickly and professionallyAbout you:
Qualified Cable Jointer with City & Guilds 2304 (formerly 2339) or equivalent
Proven experience as a Jointing Supervisor or Senior Jointer overseeing field teams
Background working with DNOs/IDNOs (UKPN, SSE, National Grid, or similar)
NRSWA Supervisor certification
Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the South EastWhy Solutions30?
